Your business deserves someone who knows how banks actually work

I spent 35 years as a banking executive — overseeing $1.5 billion in lending, approving deals, and building the teams that decide who gets funded. Now I use all of that to help business owners like you.

How I Help

Practical Help for Real Business Problems

No jargon, no generic advice. Here's what I actually do for my clients.

Get You Funded

Need a loan, line of credit, or SBA financing? I help you build the case, choose the right lender, and structure the deal so you get approved — on terms that work.

Fix Your Banking

Paying too much in fees? Stuck with a bank that doesn't get your business? I'll evaluate your setup and help you negotiate better rates, services, and responsiveness.

Plan Your Growth

New location, market, or product line? I've led multi-market expansions firsthand and can help you build a realistic plan — including the financing to back it up.

Be Your Sounding Board

Big decision? Partnership offer, acquisition, succession plan? Sometimes you need someone who's seen it before. Straight talk, honest advice — no agenda.

Tighten Your Finances

Cash flow tight? Reporting unclear? I'll help you build better processes, cleaner books, and tighter controls — without overcomplicating things.

Open Doors

Four decades in business and civic life means I know the right people. I'll connect you with bankers, board members, and partners who can move things forward.

Who You're Working With

Paul D. Puleo

Most business owners interact with a banker who follows a script. I wrote the script. Over 35 years at FNB Corporation, I built the Small Business Banking division from a $150M portfolio to $1.5B, ran a $1.6 billion region, integrated three bank acquisitions, and oversaw $500 million in annual loan production.

I started PulCo because I kept meeting business owners who were getting bad advice — or no advice — on the decisions that matter most. I know how lending decisions are really made, what gets a deal approved, and what kills one. Now that knowledge works for you.

Today I also serve as Strategic Growth & Partnership Lead at Grant Street Asset Management, helping families and business owners plan for what comes next.

I serve on the Economic Development Corporation of Southwest PA and the PA Industrial Development Authority Board, and I've chaired the Westmoreland Chamber, Latrobe Chamber, and United Way campaigns. I was named 2020 Community Service Person of the Year.

I also referee college and high school basketball — so I'm used to making tough calls under pressure.
